ADHD Therapy
ADHD is a challenging condition to learn to live with. Many may not realize they have it. In fact, many girls' symptoms go unrecognized until those challenges manifest in other ways later in life (symptoms of depression and anxiety). Learning how these symptoms impact behavior is key to successfully living with the condition because ADHD has no known cure. Therapy focuses on helping you learn how your brain functions and how to cope effectively with the associated symptoms rather than working in ineffective ways.

Behaviors associated with ADHD can also impact relationships. Therapy can help you better understand yourself so that you're able to communicate more effectively to those important to you. Being married to someone with ADHD helps me better understand the daily challenges my partner faces so that I'm able to share what I've learned in real world ways.

If you're a parent of a child with ADHD, it can feel frustrating to know what to do or how to approach life along side your child. Being a parent of children with ADHD, I've learned ways to offer support by understanding how their brains function and working with those natural responses rather than against (which often leads to conflict for parents and children).
